THE SCENT SHIFT

Ever wondered how scent affects our mood, memory and health? In Karen's own words..."Scent memory is wired into our DNA and when connected with our own rituals, we are doing what the ancients did but for our own modern-day purposes. The ancient Greeks, Romans, and Egyptians all used scent and rituals to anchor in altered states of consciousness. Incenses & oils were a fundamental part that couldn’t be omitted."

Karen is an entrepreneur, perfumery teacher and fragrance expert and has been in the health & beauty industry since 1990. The theme running through her life and business has always been well-being and while working with one of the world’s largest perfume manufacturers, she jumped headfirst into the science of scent and how it affects our brain, going on to pursue her passion for natural health and beauty by studying aromatherapy, meditation and energy medicine.

Karen will be sharing how we can understand and use the power of scent to improve our well-being.

'The Skin Wytch'

Sarah Marolia

LOVE THE SKIN YOU'RE IN

Sarah is a mature skin and facial yoga specialist and is trained in a range of treatments including non surgical face lift, facial reflexology and cryotherapy.

She will be sharing her own story of bringing her skin back to radiant health after recovering from addiction and she will be giving us some simple things we can do to understand our mature skin better and keep it in the best condition, including a simple facial yoga routine we can all practice at home.

As Sarah says "It’s not about trying to look 20 when you’re 50, it’s about embracing who you are right now and making the best of what you’ve got. I do not believe in quick fixes or the latest trend when it comes to skincare and ageing well. The key to helping you to look your best self is by looking at the bigger picture - to look at you holistically, or as I like to call it, whole-istically - and of course realistically, always keeping in mind what may or may not be achievable.

SOUNDS LIKE BLISS

What better way to round off an incredible three days of expert sharing and learning than with the most relaxing session you can imagine.

Joanne is a hugely gifted healer and specialises in sound healing.

What is sound healing?

Most of us are aware that our body contains invisible energies but did you know that this energy has electromagnetic qualities and that just the right type of sound can have the positive effect in terms of balancing your “electric body” to promote optimal wellbeing?

Sound-healing therapies are used in medical facilities across the globe to address things anxiety, sleep challenges, grief, depression, anger, and panic attacks, to aid pain relief and to boost the immune system.

Joanne will gift us with a beautiful, relaxing, healing sound bath to ease us out of our event. All you have to do is get in your comfies, lie back and receive it. For maximum benefit, Joanne recommends listening with headphones to deepen the sound experience.
